The Next Big Thing in EV Battery Technology

0 0
Play46 min

One of the biggest challenges that is standing the way of greener energy is finding ways to store that energy.

This is particularly true for electric vehicles, as well as other sectors.

The solution is the development of batteries with greater storage capacity.  The challenge is creating these batteries – in a way that is sustainable and affordable.

While we know that there have been huge advancements in EVs, how far have we come in developing those all-important batteries?

In this podcast I’m speaking with John Cooley, chief of products at Nanoramic Laboratories, a company he co-founded.

He has over 10 years of experience in leading fast-paced product development in electronic systems, power systems, and energy storage devices.

In addition to agile product development, Dr. Cooley is experienced in IP capture, go-to market strategy, technology licensing and transfer, manufacturing, and program management.

Dr. Cooley holds five technical degrees from MIT including a Ph.D. in  Electrical Engineering.

In this podcast he talks about:

1.  The biggest challenges facing the EV battery industry.

2.  What is Neocarbonix at the Core and what sets it apart from other Li-ion battery technology?

3. What could be the next big thing in green energy.
